Read the Bible in a Year in Chronological Order
I am getting my ducks in a row to lead/encourage my local Bible study group on a challenge to read through the Bible in a year. This will begin on January 1, 2019. We will read the Bible, not straight through, but in the order that the events happened. I tweaked a PDF file for this plan and posted it here: Chronological Bible Reading Plan – weekly overview

I would like to think that more than one group could benefit from the posts and files I will make available on Facebook and here on this website. So for now as I’m getting organized, I hope I can also generate some interest for others to join us in our Bible-reading challenge.
I plan to create weekly tri-fold bookmarks and make them available as PDF downloadable files here as well as on our Facebook group. You may print these bookmarks and keep them in your Bible to check off your progress and take notes on what you read. I’ve posted the first bookmark here for you to preview: Chronological Bible – Week 1 (Note: scroll down to the “second page” to see the front of the tri-fold bookmark.)
I will state here and probably quite often throughout the year that I don’t presume to be the “teacher” for this reading challenge. The Holy Spirit alone is our teacher. We will get out of it what the Holy Spirit spills into our spirits as we read and learn. I am simply trying to serve as a catalyst to share the materials and to promote dialog between many readers. If you choose to join us, I encourage you to leave comments often or from time to time to share what you are learning and to encourage others to keep reading.
