Leviticus

Numbers

• The Israelites took a census according to the clans and families.
• The area was sectioned off by tribes around the Tent of Meeting.
• Rules developed on purity and sanitation

• Levites cleansed and purified for service as priests under Aaron

Suggestions for things to look for:

• Make note of the different feasts required. They come up often in the Old Testament.
• Reading about a census can get monotonous. As you read through these pages, look for names that are familiar. They are likely to come up often in later readings.
• The Nazarite vow will come up again in later books of the Bible.
