Brief overview of the passages for this week:
Ezekiel was taken to Babylon with the first group of exiles.
Ezekiel received his call from God to serve as his prophet.
Ezekiel delivered messages about the fate of Jerusalem and the coming judgments against it.
Ezekiel spoke against the idolatry in the temple and the judgement against those who worshiped idols. The LORD’s glory would leave the temple and Jerusalem.
Ezekiel told the people their leaders would be judged, but there was hope for the people who would be exiled.
