Brief overview of the passages for this week:
Ezekiel’s wife died, but God would not allow Ezekiel to mourn for her.
Ezekiel told the exiled prisoners they would not be able to go home soon as they had hoped.
God gave Ezekiel messages for other nations who refused to listen to God saying they would also be destroyed.
God gave messages of hope to the people through Ezekiel their “watchman.” They would live if they turned from their sins. Like a good shepherd, God would search for and find his sheep and bring them back to their homeland. They will rest there while he binds up their wounds and feeds them.
