Ephesians
Those who began the “5x5x5 New Testament Bible Reading Plan” by Navigators in January will begin reading the book of Ephesians on about June 8.
Paul wrote this letter to the Ephesians while he was a prisoner in Rome. He addressed it to the believers in Ephesus and Bible scholars believe the letter was passed around to several churches in that area. Ephesus was a very important city. Romans worshiped the the Roman goddess Diana in a great temple in Ephasus.
Ephesians emphasizes relationships one with another and with Christ. Much guidance on holy living is included in this letter.
