Those who began the “5x5x5 New Testament Bible Reading Plan” by Navigators in January will read the book of Philemon on about June 28.

Paul wrote this very short letter to an individual to a slave owner named Philemon. Others are named in the opening of the letter as it is from both Paul and Timothy, and it is addressed to Philemon and others including the church that meets in Philemon’s house .Paul encouraged Philemon to accept his runaway slave, Onesimus, back as a brother in Christ. Onesimus delivered the message to Philemon.
