1 Corinthians
Those who began the “5x5x5 New Testament Bible Reading Plan” by Navigators in January will begin reading the book of 1 Corinthians on about August 2.
Paul wrote to the church (body of believers) in Corinth, a very important and wealthy city in Greece. Paul was instrumental in starting this church several years earlier and was compelled to address several problems that had arisen in the church. Some of these issues were based on personal immaturity of the believers and issues concerning the marriage relationship. The great love chapter is 1 Corinthians 13. Paul also wrote much about Spiritual gifts and the Holy Spirit.
